Project 3 - Installation
I chose the word "Regenerate" because I thought the main way in which Nintendo succeed as a game company is in the way they regenerate from previous designs and in this way are unique in the video game market. I used a cabel as my thread because Nintendo is an electronics company and placed my word in front of a construction site, because the word "Regenerate" relates nicely to the way builders regenerate and improve old buildings.
Project 3 - Poster
I used words that show the positives of the company in a geometric layout, relating to the extensive design that the Nintendo consoles go through. I also placed four Nintendo ds consoles in the same layout, showing the way nintendo regenerate by taking an old console and building upon it and improving it. I placed the poster in front of grafitti, something that contrasts the poster because of how grafitti follows little order and is much more messy and less presice. Also the colour of the poster is quite pale, while the grafitti is very bright, helping to make the poster to stand out.
